University community members are internationally recognised experts

Many members of the University community have been recognised for their scientific merits or the topics they have raised. The Finnish Unit of the International Network of the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics awarded researcher Heikki Saxén, the founder of the Finnish Institute of Bioethics, with a prize for the promotion of bioethics in Finland.
