The University is an active participant in society

The University of Tampere published the national Joy of Work Declaration for the tenth time in January 2016. Topics of the different events organised at the University included, among other things, basic and human rights, and regional and local administration. The Leadership Symposium discussed crises and management. The University joined the International Scholars at Risk network (SAR), which protects persecuted researchers.
